Whales of Iceland in Reykjavík

Whales of Iceland is the largest whale exhibition in Europe (and perhaps even the world), where guests can learn about the giants of the sea in a calm and modern environment. The permanent exhibition features whales like guests have never seen them before. It is truly a giant experience.

Whales of Iceland is the biggest whale exhibition in the world. Our aim is to leave our guests with unique experiences where they can learn about whales in spectacular surroundings and leave reinvigorated both in body and spirit.

We truly want you to have a unique – and giant – experience. #WhalesofIceland

The Whales of Iceland exhibition is located at Fiskislóð in Reykjavík’s harbour area. Getting there on foot from downtown Reykjavík is easy and enjoyable, and ample parking is also available.

Buses run frequently through the city centre and the exhibition is furthermore within walking distance from Reykjavík’s popular hotels, such as Reykjavík Marina, 1919 and others.

After your tour of the exhibition, you can enjoy light refreshments at our café and browse through our selection at the exhibition gift shop.
