Aldeyjarfoss

Aldeyarfoss is 20 metres tall waterfall and it is powered by Skjálfandafljót river. The area around the waterfall is best known for its geology, on both sides of the waterfall are rows of hexagonal basalt columns.

Basalt columns are so beautifully formed and symmetrical.
